I almost did the whole marriage contact thing with a friend one time though. Bout the closest I ever got. Well, to be fair. Another guy I used to work with who was Chinese wanted me to marry his wife’s sister so she could come to the states. We were pretty close to working out a deal around 30 thousand, I was gonna get 25 and my buddy 5 for setting the thing up. Things went wrong when he didn’t want to go to China with me, and insisted I just meet up with them. I just wasn’t comfortable with going to China alone. Not to mention the prepping and shit we had to do. Skyping and all this crazy shit. Knowing hometowns. Ugh, I could go on. But needless to say, that was the closest probably. But my buddy was a good guy. We used to fish regularly and that’s how he fed his family and saved money.
