Jackson had a pretty awful Wonderlic score by most measures. It’d just be bizarre for them to take him given their previous history and all. And besides, idk, but I think it’s a good investment to have a pretty decent backup, and that adding even a bit of competition is good for the room. Plus, IMO I’m not super confident that if Tannehill goes down and we bomb the whole season, that Gase is back. We are pretty much gambling a lot on this season that we can see a bit of improvement. Probably not. But I’ll celebrate if he does. That only helps us. But seriously, with all of Lamar bad decisions leading up to the draft do you really think The Pats would allow him to be a part of their super strict program? Hell no
