Had it not been for Trump politicizing the COVID health crisis, a great many of the people unwilling to be vaccinated would have not hesitated to get a shot. There are also those who have read and believed disinformation from anti vaxxers who have been intially influenced by Russian brigades working for their intelligence services. Anti Vax is one of their ‘Active Measures' designed to keep their adversaries sicker and preoccupied with illness. To his credit, Biden has taken the Russian disinformation to task. Trump likely had no idea nor would he have admitted even if he had.
Donald Trump and Operation Warp Speed get credit where it's due, with getting several vaccines developed and approved quickly. Biden gets credit for getting the distribution and coordination mess straightened out allowing people to actually get vaccinated.
