 This is a stretch, but some rescues have very young kittens that lost their mother ( hit by car maybe). Speak to the rescue and see if they have any tiny babies that need a mother cat to Care for them and see if you can foster one of these tiny ones for your cat who is missing her baby,that was taken, to take care of. ( was this little baby taken outside? Mama’s and new babies should be kept inside, actually, all cats should be kept indoors regardless of age) You may have to bring your cat to the rescue to see if the Mama cat takes to the tiny kitten. Having a new baby to care for may relieve the Mama cat's sadness. And if you foster, once the kitten is old enough(8–10 weeks) , the rescue can find the kitten a home. It’s definitely worth a few phone calls to rescues in your area. Use google to find local rescues in your area.
