Mike, hang up the phone,” I said. He ignored me. I reached
over and disconnected the call. Mike looked up at me, surprised. “I
said, hang up the phone. We don’t need the police here,” I
said. Mike picked up the phone and dialed again. This time I
pulled the cord out of the wall and
threw the phone in the trash. Mike went for his cell phone.
I snatched it from him and slammed it against the wall. It dropped
to the phone; the case prevented it from damage. I stood in
front of the door. That’s when I saw fear, real fear, flash
across Mike’s face. “Shannon, I’m going to call the police,” he said.
“You want to call the police? Here,” I said, tossing him my phone.
“You’ll be dead before they get here. That’s not a problem, is it? I didn’t
think so,” I said, beyond angry that he let things get this far. https://podxmas.com/product/manny-machado-man-oh-man-oh-manny-shirt/
