I think Whisker Fatigue is a made up term for a non-existent condition

 I think Whisker Fatigue is a made up term for a non-existent condition, but even if it was a real thing, which I really don’t believe, the only ‘treatment’ would be to feed the cat from a flat dish instead of a tiny bowl. That’s it. Cat’s whiskers are certainly sensitive but they routinely get their whiskers squashed in one way or another all the time, even while they are sleeping if they tuck their heads under, which they often do. If having their whiskers bent back is so terribly uncomfortable for them, then why on earth do they sleep on them so they are bent flat? No cat I have ever met or lived with or heard of has been unwilling to eat from a tiny bowl even if it does bend their whiskers back and if it was truly such a terrible thing, I suspect that cats wouldn’t be all that willing to eat from little bowls. I do use fairly big soup plates as cat dishes because I think the cats like them better and they also can’t be tipped over without a lot of effort by the cat. I also use them because I can get dishes like them cheaper than a fancy bowl at the pet store.
