If they aren’t growling or hissing at or biting each other or chasing each other fighting not in play. If they lick each other, get close together to nap or play. If they don’t get upset if the other cat takes a bite out of “their” food bowls. If they aren’t exhibiting anxious behaviors like pacing, needing constant attention from you, over grooming themselves or pulling out hair in their grooming. If they don’t act afraid to be around the other cat or to go into a room where the other cat is. If they hide away a lot more than they used to before you got the other cat there may be a problem bc of fear or being anxious to be around the other cat. If they start urinating in places to mark their territory this may indicate some stress & a problem between the cats.
